About the MBA program

At the “General information” part, we provide you a global picture on the Romanian-German MBA program, “Entrepreneurial management”, followed by the presentation of the structure with 20 modules.
 
The Romanian-German MBA program, “Entrepreneurial management”, is the result of the collaboration between:
  • The Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest – Faculty of Business Administration, taught in foreign languages,
  • and the University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen of Germany (Fachhochschule Gelsenkirchen) – Institute of Entrepreneurship and of Innovation Management
 
The mission of the MBA program is to promote leadership in the Romanian business environment. The program aims at forming managers with an international mobility, who stand out through a solid scientific qualification, through their commitment and entrepreneurial skills driven towards market and innovation. We wish that our graduates be aware not only of the growing global competition, but also of the social responsibility of the companies in which they will work in.
 
Acknowledgements: The program is internationally acknowledged by the FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) and at the national level by ARACIS (Romanian Agency for the Insurance of Quality in Higher Education). The graduates will consequently obtain two diplomas, one of MBA from the University Of Applied Sciences Of Gelsenkirchen and one diploma of Master Studies from ASE Bucharest.
 
The candidate’s profile: The Romanian-German MBA program is intended for graduates who have a license degree in any field, who also meet the following conditions: they have at least two years of professional experience and good knowledge of both German and English.
 
Period of studies: four semesters in which 20 modules/subjects are treated
 
Teaching language: German (18 modules) and English respectively (two modules)
 
The teaching form is that of team-teaching. Each module is taught by a team made up by a Romanian professor and a German partner.
 
Unfolding:
The program unfolds modularly at the end of the week: Friday and Saturday 8,00-18,; Sunday 8,00-15,00
Each module ends with an exam, Sunday at midday.
Classes take place once every two or three weeks.
